Just like an Amaryllis, the flower that carries our name, I believe that every person dealing with life challenges can find strength and resilience after loss and adversity.
AWS was created with a mission to change the way we grow through the difficult seasons of life.
I know first-hand the impact that heartbreak has on relationships, families, work, and finances. Life doesn’t pause when the unexpected happens, and I get it.
You can only heal from a place of rest
—not hustle.
By engaging in regular talk therapy, my clients can hit the pause button and take the time that is solely theirs. They begin to focus on solutions, not just problems, and can begin to ignite their healing process.
I work to help my clients see their lives and relationships through a different lens and develop a customized approach through which they can grow through the challenges with which they are dealing and move toward the lives they envision for themselves. By creating a personalized plan to help my clients bounce back from adversity, they’re able to succeed under pressure.
I’m here to help you recover in a place of peace and support, not isolation, so that you can face the tough roads confidently.
You don’t have to go it alone.
For more than 15 years, I’ve worked with women and families. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and the President and Lead Therapist of Amaryllis Wellness Services, Inc. However, none of my accolades prepared me for the devastation of infertility and heartbreak.
My journey has taken me through both a parent and pregnancy loss and all the life that happens in between. I’ve experienced the strain that infertility can put on your relationships and the process of grieving what could have been in every area of your life. Then, there are the extremes of being completely consumed with “fixing it” and just wanting to throw up your hands and walk away from everything and everybody. I am committed to helping you find your balance between the two.
